How does solar lighting work?
Solar-powered decorative lighting is a new type of high-tech product based on photovoltaic solar technology. During the day, the solar panel converts sunlight into electricity and charges the rechargeable battery. At nightfall, the light automatically turns on using the stored electricity. The lighting duration depends on the geographical location, the position of the solar panel, the weather conditions, and the season.
How to use your solar string lights?
Place the solar string lights in a location where the solar panel receives maximum sunlight during the day and avoid placing them where they could be affected by other light sources at night. Placing the solar string lights in a shaded area reduces the battery charge, which will impact the lighting duration at night. The string lights have a built-in sensor to automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn, so it is not recommended to place them near a bright light source. Upon first use, remove all the components from the box and place the string lights in direct sunlight for 8 hours to fully charge the battery and reach its maximum lifespan. The MODE button allows for continuous or flashing lighting. Designed for use during the sunny months, the illumination may be less intense during the shorter days of winter. We recommend storing your solar lights during the winter months and bringing them back out when the weather improves in spring.
