This practical, 68cm high raised garden bed is ideal for growing your seedlings or vegetables while standing up, without having to bend down! Ideal for balconies and terraces, the Veg&Table City raised garden bed features a water retention zone that optimizes water irrigation. Its legs have four drainage plugs to allow excess water to escape. Add clay pebbles to the bottom of the tray and in the hollow legs of this raised bed to create a drainage layer. To protect your plants from the elements, add the City Greenhouse (not included, available as an option) to your VEG&Table City! Like a lid, the greenhouse will protect your plants from harsh weather, morning frosts, and even animals and insects. The City Grow Table features dual ventilation with two adjustable positions for optimal airflow to your plants. To use your grow table, fill the four legs with clay pebbles, then add 2 to 3 cm of clay pebbles to the bottom of the Veg&Table, up to the height of the central rectangle. Next, add potting soil to the tray, filling it to the top line. The Veg&Table legs are pre-drilled to allow excess water to drain. Therefore, you don't need to drill any holes in the Veg&Table itself! Each leg is equipped with a removable pad to regulate water drainage: with the pad in place, the water will drain slowly, making it ideal if you're using the Veg&Table on a balcony, for example. Without a drainage pad, the water will drain quickly: ideal if your Veg&Table is exposed to the elements (in case of heavy rain, for example).
