ProCo's latest pedal, the SOLO, is not based on the RAT circuit. Although it uses the same enclosure, it introduces a new circuit (still entirely analog, with true bypass). It features four potentiometers: DISTORTION (works like the RAT), SCOOP (cuts the mids), TONE (cuts the highs), and VOLUME (works like the RAT). A three-position selector switch is also present, allowing you to choose between HOT MELT and BURN. Like all RAT pedals, it is true bypass and made in the USA.
