SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology is based on catalytic reduction, in which a reducing agent (AdBlue) reduces toxic nitric oxides into nitrogen and water, i.e., into harmless substances. AdBlue reduces NOx by up to 80%. Properties: AdBlue is a 32.5% urea solution. Used in commercial vehicles, SCR technology results not only in a reduction of harmful nitrogen oxide and diesel particulate emissions, but also in a further improvement in the fuel consumption of diesel engines. This SCR technology is implemented to meet EURO 4, EURO 5, and EURO 6 exhaust emission standards, thus offering a future-proof propulsion system in terms of economy, performance, and environmental friendliness. AdBlue can be stored for up to 1 year after manufacture in sealed containers stored at a maximum temperature of 25°C. Classification: AdBlue complies with ISO 22241 Safety Data Sheet.
