The ZP09 Raised Garden Bed with Stepped Structure is a practical solution for growing vegetables in the garden, on the patio, and even on the balcony. Thanks to its adjustable and modular construction, you can adapt the cascading levels to your needs, better organize your plantings, and easily separate different plants.
The ZP09 series is made of high-quality FSC®-certified pine wood. Several finishes are available: a raw, natural version (untreated) as well as treated versions (natural with a clear, gray, and brown impregnation). To preserve the wood's appearance and ensure a long lifespan, we recommend regular maintenance (reapplying the impregnation as needed). The raw version must be protected before its first outdoor use. The planter is bottomless and designed to be placed directly on the ground; however, we recommend installing it on a geotextile fabric: this limits weed growth from underneath and prevents direct contact between the wood and the soil. The geotextile fabric is included in the free gardening kit. To ensure the planter functions properly and remains stable for years, it must be filled in layers: a drainage layer at the bottom (e.g., small branches/wood chips), then organic matter and compost, and finally the potting soil. This structure improves water drainage and contributes to the overall durability during use. The kit includes the following free of charge: agrofibre, a mole screen, plant labels, and plant clips/ties. Furthermore, we offer a cellular membrane (drainage membrane with protrusions), available separately, to better protect the inside of the planter and extend its lifespan.
