The planter is available in 4 finishes/colors: raw natural (untreated wood), impregnated natural, impregnated gray, and impregnated brown. For the raw natural version, it is advisable to protect the wood before first use (product suitable for outdoor use) to increase durability. Several sizes are available to suit your needs: heights of 18, 27, 36, 45, or 54 cm; Widths 30, 60, 90, or 117 cm; depths 63, 93, or 120 cm. Whether you want a small herb garden on a balcony or a large vegetable patch, you'll find the right size. We recommend layering: using several materials rather than just soil. This improves drainage, promotes root aeration, and helps retain moisture. For example: at the bottom, branches/wood chips; then organic matter (leaves, grass clippings); next compost or rich soil; and finally, topsoil. The kit includes: a raised planter (size and color of your choice), a winter cover/protective fleece (agrofiber), herb trays, labels, descriptive plaques, ties and clips, assembly instructions, and the necessary screws. The plaques and labels make it easy to organize and identify your plants. The agrofiber helps separate the soil and limit moisture loss. Simple assembly, no special tools required (a screwdriver is all you need).
