This powerful device can be used to trigger MP3 files, MIDI files, and even video files. The M-Live Divo's built-in sound engine features 240-voice polyphony, and because you're working with MIDI files, you get all the benefits of live MIDI on stage, allowing you to edit and fine-tune the mix as well as the sound. Suppose there's a flute solo on the track that you want to play live with a real flute—simply mute the flute track. Perhaps the backing choir could be a little quieter in the mix: just lower the volume slider via the spacious color display. Two microphones can be plugged into the Divo and colored with effects, and a MIDI keyboard can also be connected for direct control over your sound sources, completing an all-in-one MIDI-based hub so you can leave your laptop at home.
