5. If the blade touches a hard object such as a stone, immediately stop the engine and check the blade for damage. If there is a problem, replace it with a new blade.
6. If someone calls you while you are working, always switch off the engine before turning around.
7. Never touch the muffler or other metal parts of the engine while it is running or immediately after stopping. Doing so could cause serious burns.
8. When you have finished cutting in one area and wish to continue working elsewhere, turn off the engine and rotate the tool as the blade moves away from your body.
